At Sterling Construction, we focus on remodeling KITCHENS in the Lake Norman area. We take on anywhere from
1-3 jobs per month and don't rely on random crews working at your house. Instead, we have built a team of professionals that have your best interest at hand. With over 20 YEARS of being in business, we know your priority is getting the job done right, on time, and within budget. You will get a written bid detailing every item, and we stick to that contract.
The owner, Tony Pescho is always your main contact for your remodeling project. His experience includes being a custom home division manager for a local homebuilder, a Realtor, a new home sales agent, and a construction superintendent.
Heard of horror stories about other contractors taking 6 months to finish a kitchen? Not here. Most jobs are finished around 1-2 months. Many contractors get their foot in the door, just to try and work multiple projects simultaneously, barely keeping anyone satisfied. That's not our style and we believe it has made our referral business our best source for new projects.
Often, we are tasked with other projects while we're in your home remodeling your kitchen. Other services are available such as replacing Entry Doors, installing Wrought Iron Balusters to your staircase, & much more. Just ask!

Sterling Construction did an incredible remodel on our home. The kitchen was gutted and the layout completely redesigned for a highly functional and beautiful space. Tony also helped design a ceiling treatment for the den, installed a new limestone hearth for the fireplace, added sconces, and installed new LED can lighting throughout the downstairs. Renovations in a pandemic is an interesting experience, to say the least! We are lucky to have chosen Tony Pescho and Sterling Construction as our contractor. Definitely one of the best decisions we have made. We could not be more pleased with our kitchen and bath renovations. The bath was a total redesign, removing everything including walls and building a larger walk-in shower and dressing area. Tony was able to take our wishlist and made it happen.
Tony and his team do beautiful work. They are dependable, extremely talented and fun to be around. Most of all, the attention to detail is extraordinary. Be assured that Tony isn't finished until it is perfect.
